    Dr. Debra Garing

    Dr. Debra Garing was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Eberton, Georgia.

    She received her undergraduate degree from Tufts Universary then attended University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine where she was member of the Phi Zeta honorary society and received her DVM degree in 1984.

    She bought the Elkin Veterinary Clinic from Dr. Robert NIcks in December 1986.

    Dr. Garing resides in Elkin with her two children and several dogs and cats.

    She is very active in the community including serving as President of the Rotary Club and serving on the board of Grace Clinic and the Foothills Art Council.

    Jackie

    Jackie is the Veterinary Technician. She studied and got her degree at Central Carolina Technical College in Sanford N.C. and did her internship at Nicks Veterinary Clinic for Dr. Robert Nicks.

    After graduation she accepted a fulltime position with Elkin Veterinary Hospital and has been a valued employee for 29 years.

    Susan is a retired registered Neurodiagnostic Tech since February 2017.

    She joined our team in September 2017 as a Veterinary assistant and kennel assistant.

    Not pictured, she also has 2 cats and a Labrador. She enjoys family time with her husband and grand kids. Also, hiking with friends and her dogs.
